You
Are Tempted To Be Bitter
Psalm 38:7-9
7 My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body. 8 I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.
9 All my longings lie open before
you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.
Proverbs 16:32
32 Better a patient man than a warrior, a man
who controls his temper than one who takes a city.
1 Corinthians 13:
1If I speak in the tongues of men and of
angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy
and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can
move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and
surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Ephesians 4:29
29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of
your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their
needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Ephesians 5:2
2and live a life of love, just as Christ
loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to
God.
Hebrews 12:14-15
14Make every effort to live in peace with all
men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one misses the grace of God
and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
